Usage:
Plant caviar! That's what Beluga lentils are called. Small, round, shiny. These lentils are absolutely delicious, with a pleasant nutty taste in the mouth. They are "dry", but don't need soaking, which saves a considerable amount of time. Added to rice, these lentils will delight the taste buds.
Cooking :
- Rinse and inspect lentils before use.
- For one cup of lentils, bring to the boil with two cups of water. Water can be replaced by broth.
- Lower heat, add lentils. Cook uncovered for 20-30 minutes. Add water as needed. Season to taste, adding salt only at the fin. Cooking time depends on the age of the lentils.
Storage :
Keeps up to one year in its airtight bag in a cupboard or cool, dry place.
