- You're sharing companies whose mission is to ban plastic while making your life more enjoyable. Here, in this article!
Our 5 champion companies!

1. Tanit
Founded by a couple of engineers, this Montreal-based company is rethinking daily rituals for a conscious and sustainable lifestyle. Their products combine expertise, originality, and sustainability. We particularly like their chewable toothpastes , which make this daily task fun and practical while prioritizing the health of our planet. A revolutionary product that young and old alike love!

2. OLA Bamboo
Bamboo toothbrushes are increasingly becoming a part of Canadians' daily lives. Many companies offer them, but OLA Bamboo has succeeded in reducing plastic consumption by producing the first bamboo toothbrush made in Canada, specifically in Drummondville, Quebec! We can be proud of that!

3. KLIIN
Kliin is known for its reusable paper towels, but have you ever heard of their laundry detergent sheets ? The large plastic container has been replaced by a small, compostable cardboard box, and the many chemicals that often make up detergent have been replaced by natural products that are also biodegradable. This product is one of Simplitude's bestsellers, and we understand why because we've been using it ourselves for over a year!

4. Noba Pasta
This company, which offers organic Kamut and spelt pasta, has banned plastic from all its packaging! The pasta comes in 100% recyclable and compostable cardboard boxes thanks to the use of organic ink and the transparent film made of wood fiber. Even the boxes that transport the pasta boxes are actually made of recycled cardboard, and the adhesive tape contains no plastic or fiberglass, which does not contaminate the cardboard and can therefore be recycled :) A great role model!

5. Maemae
Did you know that nearly 200 million plastic lip balm tubes end up in the trash?
Maemae comes to the rescue with 100% compostable tubes. Their lip balms contain the finest ingredients for fast, nourishing hydration. And last but not least! These balms are fragrance-free; the flavors are organic aromatic oils! We love them!
Here are five inspiring companies that are putting the war against plastic at the heart of their decisions, even if it (very often) costs more! Do you know other companies fighting the same fight? Share them with us!
