Spread made with mealworms

Mealworm spread flavored with pink pepper, garlic, curry, herbs or plain.

Our spreads are a good source of protein but unlike plant-based sources of protein, they have a much higher protein rating and contain vitamin B12 which is often deficient in a strictly vegan diet.
Compared to the liver pâtés they imitate, our spreads are rich in good monounsaturated fats rather than saturated fats and contain much less cholesterol.
Although the taste and texture of our spreads are similar to those of a treat, they are a healthy and complete food and can be consumed without limit.

Local economy: Our spreads are produced in the city from mealworms raised in the city and fed on food waste from the same city, namely brewer's grains from urban microbreweries.
We source our mealworms from TriCycle, an urban farm that doesn't use any fertilizers or pesticides, unlike traditional or even vegan farming.
Insect farming generates fewer greenhouse gases than meat. For the same amount of protein, chicken produces 23% to 167% more greenhouse gases than insects, and up to 1,200% more for beef.
Our product does not involve animal suffering.
