  • Plastic is found in many everyday products and we are trying to reduce it as much as possible. Plastic toys for children represent a source of plastic pollution of beaches and waterways for hundreds of years. Opt for a biodegradable wooden version that is durable!

    • The shovel has whale engravings and the rake has turtle engravings

    • Bamboo is grown without the use of pesticides or insecticides.
    • Bamboo forests absorb 35% more C02 than a regular mixed forest.

    Dimensions:

    Small beach tools measure 21.5 cm long, handles are between 2 and 2.5 cm wide and the shovel or rake portion is 5.8 cm at its widest.

    Use & Care:
    It is important to store them in a dry place and not leave them lying around in water or moisture.

    Discontinue use if products are damaged.

    How to dispose of them:
    Properly    cared for, beach toys should last for years, so don't hesitate to give them to the next guy or gal and offer them to another child if yours has gotten too old.

    At the end of their life, you can place them in the trash, as most compost facilities cannot handle larger pieces of bamboo/wood or metal.

It grows naturally without the use of chemicals. The handle is 100% biodegradable. The nylon bristles are flexible enough to reach all corners of the mouth to keep your teeth in perfect health. It is a great alternative to plastic.

    Social economy

    For OLA Bamboo, social involvement is an integral part of the company's mission. That's why we do business with Re-Source Integration, a social economy enterprise located in Gatineau, which employs more than a hundred people with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, physical limitations and mental health problems. We also work with Pivot Centre-du-Québec, located in Drummondville, which is a psychosocial rehabilitation service through the medium of work. The participants in recovery are people aged 18 and over living with a mental health problem.

    Whether it is for the assembly of certain products and displays or for the engravings of certain corporate products, we are proud to work with these magnificent teams!
