Yes, I'm taking advantage of Black Friday, so what?! My tips for not going under 😅
Throw rocks at me, yes I'm taking advantage of the deals during Black Friday! 🙈😂
About fifteen years ago (phew, time flies!), the more things I had, the "richer" I felt. 👀
Now it's different: the less I go to the store, the richer I feel. Not because I spend less, but because what I choose will last me a looooong time! In addition to not overconsuming, my time is precious and the less I spend repurchasing due to poor quality, the better I feel ahaha! 😉
Black Friday is, in my opinion, the perfect time to buy products that you can't often afford 🤞
👉 Here are 4 strategic tips to enjoy Black Friday a little more responsibly:
1. Make a list of what you need.
For my part, I have to replenish my merino wool socks that I've had for 8 years. I buy them all at Le Bonnetier.
I'm also looking for a pair of winter gloves for my daughter as well as a neck warmer. I'll definitely look at Caribou . The quality is impeccable!
I always buy my daughter's winter coat a year or two in advance. This allows me to get what I want while respecting my values and my budget.
I'm also looking for Christmas gifts, I keep a list throughout the year, I just have to take it out and type each idea into the Google search bar 😉

2. List the businesses you love but can't afford.
Here is a list of my favorite companies:Betina Lou , Odeyalo , Des enfantillages , Maguire , Cantin , Woolfell , Hugo Loves Tiki , Dompierre , YYY , La courte échelle ... Do you know them?
3. Don't look at all your emails, but filter them.
Not looking at all the offers allows you to stay focused on your needs. However, you can search by name of your favorite companies so you can see if they offer deals reserved for newsletter subscribers. You never know!

4. Keep in mind that Black Friday is a great opportunity to support the local economy!
And yes, it's true! Black Friday can also allow you to discover new businesses or support them when prices are more in line with your budget.😊
I've been doing it this way for several years and I really like it! It's a process I keep up year-round to make sure I don't forget anything: I have a notepad on my phone and every time I find a new company or product that I can't afford but that I'd like to have, I write it down and wait 😅 Patience also allows you to see if you really need it and if you still like it. If you're that excited to want it after a few months, it's because it's made for you 🫶 This is really a good exercise!
📌That's all! And you, how do you do it? Do you use these tips?
